Beautifying Our Sacred Spaces as We Welcome Summer

Temple Kol Ami and Adamah Detroit invite families and community members to our final Nature Chuggim session of the year, a joyful, hands-on afternoon celebrating the values of kindness, care for the Earth, and sacred community spaces. On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 12:30pm, families with children ages 4–12 and adults of all ages are welcome to gather at TKA for Beautifying Our Sacred Spaces as We Welcome Summer. Together, we’ll create vibrant seed balls to support local pollinators, paint kindness rocks to encircle our new front tree, and help refresh our synagogue’s garden areas. Along the way, we’ll explore meaningful Jewish values like Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Shomrei Adamah (guardians of the Earth), and Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving-kindness).

Come dressed to get a little messy and leave inspired—with take-home seed balls, a kindness rock, and a summer pledge to keep spreading beauty and compassion in your home, community, and beyond.
