She is the founder of FoodLab\, a nutrition education program integrating food science and culinary arts. Her book\, Vegetables for Breakfast from A to Z\, invites the reader to re-imagine breakfast by enhancing it with fresh\, seasonal produce. From that time forward\, she felt a yearning for God\, which she pursued through attending Jewish prayer experiences\, studying dance\, yoga and following a path into the healing arts. \n\n\n\nProfessionally\, she worked as a dance therapist and then drawn to the depth and vitality of yoga\, she became a yoga teacher. Sharon wanted to draw upon the profound wisdom of yoga and also revive\, not ignore or abandon her identity as a Jew. She collaborated with her rabbi\, Tara Feldman offering yoga classes inspired by Jewish holidays\, text\, metaphor and music. Together they authored a workbook\, Into A Jewish Holiday Year with Yoga.
