Dining
We are proud of our kosher farm-to-table kitchen under the supervision of the Orthodox Union (OU).
We strive to follow Adamah’s mission of cultivating a more sustainable future by centering our food offerings around lots of vegetarian options, what is presently available on our farm and what we can source locally. Our delicious meals reflect the season and land at the time of your visit.
All meals will be buffet style and have open seating.
As we are not licensed to serve alcohol, guests are welcome to bring any other kind of wine/alcohol as long as it is sealed, heckschered as MEVUSHAL, and checked at the registration desk upon arrival.
Davening and Ritual Elements
We will not have traditional Shabbat services Friday night or Saturday day. We will be leading a Hitbodedut (outdoor meditative program) Saturday morning which is an alternative service option.
We will have all the customary elements of Shabbat including candle-lighting, challah, grape juice, havdalah – and even matzah ball soup!
We have a natural creek mikvah and an eruv around the entire property including hiking trails.
Attire
Our R&R Weekend will be retreat-center-casual. Remember layers, sneakers and yoga clothes!
Rarely does our campus offer this chance to come to campus without a big event, so don’t wait to sign up, and tell your friends before we sell out!

Adventure Awaits!
An expansive 180-acre campus invites you to explore a range of amenities and activities for group recreation or personal reflection.
Campus Map
Pure Water and Thriving Ecosystems
Tëmakwehane – Beaver Creek – runs through the Pearlstone campus and connects us with the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. A major ecological restoration project completed in 2021 transformed a 1,300-foot span of the stream with a natural channel design to re-aligns the structure and flow back state of health that is self-forming and self-maintaining.
Gather Around the Campfire
Roast marshmallows, tend to the fire, or simply bask in the glow and warmth of the flames while surrounded by nature. Sharing the ritual of spending time around an open fire invites conversation and sparks connection among those sharing the experience together.
Recreation
Get your game on here! Plenty of open space, fields for softball u0026 soccer, volleyball and several basketball courts are available in several spots across campus.
Swimming Pools u0026 Splash Pad
Enjoy three swimming pools – including one with a water slide! The pool deck has plenty of lounge chairs and seating under oversized umbrellas, plus ping pong and other games. The kid-friendly splash pad sprays water from the ground while buckets fill up and pour down from above.
Forests, Farms, and Meadows
Follow the 3-mile loop trail around the perimeter of the property which takes you passed the lake and through wooded areas. Explore the center of campus where you can stroll through wild meadows and tour various fields where our farmers grow Certified Organic produce.
