The Jewish Green Business Network connects North American and Israeli green business leaders, young professionals and experts, to accelerate climate action and strengthen Jewish peoplehood through community building, leadership development and strategic partnerships.
Our network is built on three pillars:

- Community Building – Foster meaningful connections across the Jewish community; locally, throughout North America, and globally, by linking Israeli climate innovation with Adamah’s North American network. Cultivate a vibrant Jewish community that inspires climate innovation through Jewish learning, idea sharing, mentorship and collaboration.
- Leadership Development – Guide individuals in discovering and developing their values-driven career paths by connecting young professionals and students with experienced business leaders to find job opportunities and activating leadership through peer-learning and climate ecosystem events.
- Strategic Partnerships – Foster relationships by facilitating targeted networking opportunities, curated introductions, and collaborative initiatives that help members unlock meaningful business, investment, and impact opportunities; encourage and enable partnerships among members, strengthen ties between Israeli and American Jewish green businesses, and connect members to the Adamah’s Jewish Climate Coalition.
This network will include advisors and strategists from the climate field who can catalyze systemic change through technical expertise, vendor connections, helping to grow the Climate Action Fund and expand the Coalition beyond Jewish institutions into Jewish green businesses.
In its full implementation, there will be five key activity areas:
- Integration with Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition to grow Adamah’s National Climate Action Fund and expand the Coalition beyond Jewish institutions into Jewish green businesses.
- Integration with youth empowerment, creating connections and cultivating an on-ramp for career trajectories including young leaders from Adamah’s Jewish Youth Climate Movement and Adamah on Campus.
- Israel trips for leaders from the North American climate tech, renewable energy, and sustainability sectors.
- Networking programs including Climate Week NYC and during major conferences such as the annual UN Conference of Parties (COP).
- Local hub gatherings including events, local tours, and workshops.
JGBN Highlights to date:
The JGBN model is being piloted in in Los Angeles through our Adamah LA Community Impact Hub. Dovetailing with our Youth Empowerment efforts in LA, the pilot is creating opportunities for local college students to learn about climate advocacy and explore green careers. In September 2024, JGBN hosted an intimate Climate Policy Roundtable discussion at USC Hillel. Alon Tal, Israel’s leading expert on environmental initiatives and climate tech, met with student leaders following his lecture at the USC Price School. In November 2024, Adamah LA convened a Career Panel of local green business professionals who shared their experiences and insights in the climate/sustainability fields with 30 LA-area college students.
