In this class you will start to learn why eco-systems collapse when indigenous peoples are removed from their land and how native people gathered from the land in such a way that animals, food and biodiversity were greatly increased in their ecosystems. Class will include some caretaking the land projects. This class is my personal favorite, and this knowledge is much needed in the world today.

Nature Exploration (for rising 4th-9th graders) is our traditional overnight experience with amazing specialists, awareness games, wild edible plant identification, night hikes, farm-to-table cooking, high ropes course and zipline, free swim, and more.

As summer fades and fall approaches, Pearlstone is in full bloom! Come and enjoy our u-pick flowers, lovingly grown by our dedicated farmers. Dance your heart out at our silent disco in the vibrant meadows and join us for a variety of flower-related activities and crafts, including flower pressing, natural dyeing, flower arranging, and flower crown making. Applications Due August 1 | Explore the inner work that prepares people to fully embrace elderhood so they can become the elders whose wisdom and gifts are so urgently needed now. We will also focus on the vital role elders can serve in our communities, especially in partnership of generations, supporting the growth, aspirations and gifts of youngers.
This is the season of nuts. Learn the basics of many nut preparations including acorn bread, Hickory tea and many other roasted nuts. This is part three of our edible plant series. Guest Instructor Renata Lynn adds a new dimension to the plants going deeper into their herbal uses.

Come sing, dance, and celebrate under a newly built Greenwald amphitheater at Pearlstone! This Sunday on the Farm Harvest Music Festival will feature local musical talent, food trucks, and fun for all ages.
This class is all about crafts, mainly using grass. Make mats, clothing, Digeri doo’s, water bottles, spoons, rice cookers etc. This is a fun crafting hang out class learning some pretty interesting skills.
