Gramp Camp brings together grandparents and grandchildren for a 2-night, 3-day adventure at Pearlstone. Join other families in the week between school and camp to explore nature, experiment with farm-to-table cooking, learn new songs, and meet our animals!
Make your own bow drill fire kit and hopefully make a fire with it. (This is making fire by rubbing two sticks together.) See other types of fire by friction. Learn to make cordage (two ply rope) out of natural materials. This is a fun crafting and hang out class while learning two important skills.

Advanced Skills is for rising 8th-12th graders who are passionate and focused, and interested in making and learning to use high-quality tools (this year’s tracks: Bow/Arrow + Knife-Making OR Wilderness Survival). This camp has a focus on building independence, so campers sleep in their own tents in the Wilderness Village and help prepare many of their meals.
